So if you didn't guess ... I'm updating from my blackberry right now! This is amazing.

Dean and I went to the Ben Bailey aka the cash cab guy at Trump Marina last night. He was really fucking funny, I didn't think he was going to be. The venue sucked. It was packed with tiny tables and some booths. AND no waitress came to our table the entire time so we didn't get any drinks ughhh. Then we went over to our friends house for a little.

Alrite just wanted to test this out.

'til next time ...

Texting. No argument there.

I got my score back on Friday. All the frustration of studying again and retaking it, then the waiting for the score was NOT in the least bit worth it. I only score two points higher, although higher, it doesn't make or break anything for me. I'm still in the same position I was with my first score, grrr.

I decided that there's nothing I can do and just do think about it or talk about it. haha Now I'm just waiting for the decisions to come through. *crosses fingers for at least ONCE acceptance* Here's where I stand now:
LSADS GPA: 3.37 UGPA: 3.64 LSAT: 147/149
Two amazing recommendations from two lawyers I had interned for in the summer. My personal statement I'm unsure of, but it's about coaching/taking on a leadership position among other things. I think its good, but I'll never know. I also don't know how my resume stands against others. I held a part-time job throughout my entire college career, two of them were Shift Manager positions, one held for 2 years, the other for 5 and I worked two jobs over the summer. This past summer was the only time I had one job, but I had the internship at the law firm so that was my "second" unpaid job.

I applied to:
Drexel (I think thats #1 right now)
Temple
Villanova
Widener
Rutgers-Newark
Rutgers-Camden
Florida Coastal (last minute, fee waived app)

*Sigh* I'm really unsure of what to expect. And I hate waiting for it!

On a good note, the crew team is doing excellent already! We have 12 girls, 11 have great splits and are working hard AND we just got a coxswain, although we need another one def. The head coach, Tom, his wife is pregnant and is expected to go into labor at any moment now so I'll be taking over the team for a week or so soon. I'm very nervous about this lol. I hope I'm a good coach. =/ I have to plan some workouts and finish this coxswain sheet for Allie.

Alright, this post is long enough and I have some things I need to do today.

'Til next time ...

This is a good one. =)

It's a joke between a friend of mine and I from like 10 years ago lol. I honestly don't even remember what the joke was, well I kind of do, but it doesn't make sense. The only person who would understand it would be...Cass. And of course I haven't seen/talked to her in like years. I miss her. =( I want to visit her soon in Chicago again. Dean and I went a couple years ago and it was really fun, I wanna do it again but for longer. Long story shore, its an inside joke I don't really remember haha.

This post was pretty pointless but I haven't updated in awhile and I liked the question.

Oh yeah, I'm waiting for my LSAT score!! It's supposed to come today *crosses fingers*. I keep refreshing the page haha cause I don't know what time they will be released. I have to work from 12-6 and will have NO internet access! So I told Dean how to check for me and he's going to do it.

For now, its time for a nap before work. If not, I will be probably fall asleep standing up haha.

'Til next time.

I love that I can still enjoy the same TV shows I did growing up at 21 lol. Thank you TBS.

Anyways... I drove alll the way to the courthouse, which was 45 min where I live now, only to find out I had been excused. Ugh! They couldn't have sent me something telling me I didn't have to go! So then I drove the 45 min home and played the Wii for awhile. =) I'm so happy I bought it! I've seriously played it everyday since I did. It's a very big time waster as I have no life.

Only 9 more days til I get my score!!

I'm going to the gym in a little bit, then possibly to my parents house if I can find the pants my sister is looking for ... I really want to make a new layout, but I haven't had the time or energy to sit in front of the computer and just do it lol. Maybe I'll try to do it today. Hmmm. We'll see.

Wow its been a LONG time since I posted. A lot of things have happened since then. I went to Colorado for a week with my family and my boyfriend and it was amazing. The weather was perfect and there was plenty of snow. We stayed at a family friend's house on the mountain at Beaver Creek (near Vail) which we've done the past 5 years. I love going out there, it makes me not want to come back. To just pick up and move there. One day ...

There was a Wii there so we played that the entire time and two days after we got home I decided I wanted one. So I went to Best Buy and got one! I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love it. A week later my boyfriend decided he wanted a new TV, so he bought a 32" plasma, so the Wii looks amazing now.

Oh yes. I took the LSATs for the second time. I'm not sure how I did. I felt confident I took the test better, but I still feel very weary. Only 10 days until I get my score. *Crosses fingers* My applications are already in (I sent them in while I was in Colorado) and they are just waiting for the score. So pretty soon I will know if I'm going to law school in 5 months or not. Its a little nerve wracking and definitely is keeping me on edge lol.

Crew started today. So for the next 2 months and 22 days (minus a few Sundays) I will be waking up at 5:40am. Yippe! Only this year I will be coaching (aka getting a paycheck) so it shouldn't be too bad. Unfortunately we found out today that both of our coxswains will not be returning, which means we have to find a someone small, fast. I may be able to keep the one around, but definitely not the other. As for the rowers, we have 11 as of now (which is amazing for the first day!) and most of them kept in shape over break so it looks like we can pick up where we left off, for once.

I finally got my ass back into the gym. I went 3 days last week. So far this week I went to Hip Hop last night - that was a rough class! I'm taking today off cause I have jury duty (UGH!) but I might go later tonight, if not I am taking Yoga tomorrow so I'll workout after.

Well it's time to take a nap before going to the courthouse for a rousing day of sitting around and waiting!

'Til next time ...

It's the last day in office for George Bush. There's been a lot of talk in the media lately about Bush's legacy. What do you think he will be most remembered for?

View 500 Answers

Royally fucking the country in the ass. Chris Rock said it all in his stand-up, Kill the Messenger. Here's a few jokes I thought were best ...
"George Bush fucked up so bad, he made it hard for a white man to run for President."
"People keep asking, is America ready for a black president ... well we should, we just had a RETARDED one!"
"If you don't think you give a fuck, George Bush don't give a fuck."

I would keep going, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. =) Chris Rock jokes about the election, Bush, relationships, and some other things.
[/end Writer's Block]

Oh man, that was probably the best question yet. Anyways, I am so stressed about getting my law school applications in. They are all filled out, all my transcripts are in, my LOR are in, and all I have to do is edit this damn personal statement to perfection (and study for the LSATs, again). My PS is too long right now, but I'm taking a break from it and letting my head clear. I'll probably work on it again either later tonight or first thing tomorrow.

Today I have to:
- Go to physical therapy at 1130.
- Let me dogs out in OC this afternoon.
- Study at LEAST 2 hours for the LSAT.
- Watch Gossip Girl & One Tree Hill tonight!

That's about it, but driving to OC and back is going to be the time killer. Oh yeah, I want to clean the house and go to the gym today too, hopefully I'll get that all done.

I've been bummed since I got my horendous LSAT score and haven't been in the mood to write or even do anything. I even wanted to take down my Christmas decorations yesterday, but I knew I couldn't just yet. Too soon haha. I never got around to showing off my new Christmas presents, so here goes ...
presents! )

So, I'm taking the LSAT again on February 7. Ugh. It's going to be another stressful month until I take them, and then until I get my new scores. I still have to finish my personal statement and I'm waiting on 2 transcripts and a recommendation letter to be received. Applying to law school is a very frustrating, long process. If I would have known this, I would have begun ages ago. It's my fault though, I didn't do the research early enough. Oh well. I should be okay as long as I do a LOT better on the next LSAT. Well, it's time for me to head on over to the library study.

I just finished taking all the presents downstairs and arranging them around the tree. My pile is the biggest!! I'm so excited to open them since I didn't really ask for much. Just a camera and a ski coat =D.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I'm uber excited, though not so much prepared. Most of my gifts are finished and some still need to be wrapped, but nothing major. I wanted to buy/make more presents for my family but I didn't have the money or time to do so. =/ Though the presents I did finish turned out awesome. (I'll post the pictures after the holidays, don't want to spoil any surprises).

Today I was playing with my hamster, recording it at the same time. While I was watching him through my phone he tried to get out of his treat cup and ended up falling off the table! It was so funny. On the video you can see how he falls, but I drop the phone so that's all. My poor Pumies. He drops/jumps/falls from things all the time.

I'm still (im)patiently waiting for my LSAT scores to come back. I'm crossing my fingers for this weekend, but I highly doubt it. =/ Once the holidays are over I can finish getting my applications in order so they can be sent right away. Fred and Jodie, the lawyers I interned for in the summer, are writing my recommendation letters for me. I still have to ask Tom though I'm considering finding someone else since he is uber busy with the baby a few months away. My transcript from Stockton was succesfully sent, but I still have to request it from Rowan and ACCC, which I totally spaced on taking summer classes there. Grr.

I'm at work and I only have an hour left, thankfully. My back has been killing me the past couple weeks and I'm unsure what to do. I want to work out, but my back hurts. My back hurts because I'm not strengthing my other muscles. It's a vicious cycle of pain. One day I'll get a job where I don't have to stand the whole time and maybe, just maybe, my back will start to feel better. I just pray surgery is not going to be needed eventually, but it's not looking so good ATM.*sigh*

Went to the Pool on Wednesday night with Bella and we met her cousin, Giac, and his friend Steve there. That place is absolutely insane. I had never been there before, only heard about and wow. Now I know why everyone loves it there. It's like you're in a whole other wild world haha. Drinks were definitely expensive, but Giac and Steve bought them for us. =) Of course I forgot my camera and didn't get to take any pictures myself. Bella had hers, but I have to wait til she puts them on facebook before I can steal them hehe. I think we are going to Mur Mur on Monday. This whole being graduated thing is fucking sweet!

Speaking of .. 2 days 'til Graduation!! AHH! SO EXCITED! And I totally forgot that means that I don't have to work Sunday too, which I am even more excited about cause I can go out Saturday night now! First Saturday in like 3 months LOL. I finally got my grades! They were posted when I checked this morning. They are *drum roll*

There are a lot of things we see most often in December, like caroling, potato latkes, mistletoe, mulled wine, eggnog, and returning gifts. What's your favorite holiday tradition?

View 500 Answers

Eggnog. I look forward to it coming to Wawa (convenience store for non-east coast US-ers) every holiday season. I'm sure I probably could make the eggnog myself any time of the year, but 1. I don't know how and 2. it's easier to buy it. LOL. I wonder if bars will serve eggnog now too? Hmmm .... I shall have to go out and see =)

PS-I love EVERYTHING about Christmas and the Holidays.

[end writer's block]

Speaking of going out, I'm so excited to go out tonight! Bella texted me yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to the Pool at Harrah's tonight and since I have nothing to do and I said okay! So we are going out tonight, yey! It's been so long since I've had a late night out.

Today I have to:
-- take my LAST final at 10:30
-- sell back my books
-- buy lots of food to bring home with my meal plans
-- go to OC and Christmasize the 'Rents house for them
-- MAYBE stop at Old Navy in AC to get this super cute dress I saw there the other day
-- stop being so sick
-- go to the Pool!

Time to go to Stockton to wait in line for the stupid bookstore.

Only one more final until I graduate from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Jesus that's a long name. I really can't believe it's finally happening. I'm in utter shock. Tomorrow will be the last day I step foot in Stockton and FINALLY the last meal I will ever eat there. My one regret about transferring: I left behind the to-die-for deliciousness Rowan calls their food court. It was like eating in Heaven.

It's so weird to think that after tomorrow, I will have no obligations in my life (besides working 11 hours a week) until crew starts in February. I'm excited to coach again because it was such an awesome feeling, but I so do not want to get up at 5am again, ugh. The feeling of riding along with your rowers is indescribable though and well worth the work. I am actually considering becoming a coach once I am done with school. Take classes and get certified. Tom teaches some of the classes too, which is a bonus. I absolutely love Tom and glad he was my coach and I now am coaching with him. He has done so much in his life, I aspire to do half of the things he has. And Tiffany, his wife. Absolutely amazing. And pregnant, very pregnant. Unfortunately she is due right at the beginning of crew. =/ Tom is so stressed as it is, it's going to be so hard for him. But that's where I come in. =D Helping out when I can and taking over things that he doesn't need to waste his time handling. Kind of like an assistant. I am going to be the Assistant Coach and all.

Now that I just wasted everyone's time. All I have to say is I can't wait til Christmas! I am making everyone gifts this year and I'm really excited about how they are going to turn out. I will be sure to post pictures of them. =) Some of the gifts I will be trying are in my memories if you want a sneak peak.

'Til next time ...

PS - Any OTH or GG fans, I am VERY upset they will not be returning until January 5th!!

I took the LSAT's today (which I learned stand for Law School Admission Test). Basically is THE deciding factor for acceptance into law school aka my whole future lies in this test.

I think, pray, hope, wish, and DREAM that I did well today. I have to say I felt pretty confident during it, really calm and relaxed. My fellow test-takers were not so relaxed and while I finished a few minutes before time was called, without too much pressure, they were struggling to answer all the questions in the section when time was being called. During break I saw my friend and he said that one section he didn't get to answer 5! eek! I answered all, but one. Because I could not figure out what answer was correct I swear there wasn't one. Anyways, that also doesn't mean my answers were right just because I finished faster.

Ugh. Now I have to wait 3 weeks! Two days after Christmas, hopefully, to get my results online. I'm sure I will keep myself occupied until Christmas. ;)

Well I'm at work now and my back is killing me, so I'm going to sit down aka have to go away from the computer. =(

It's Thursday. Only 2 days until taking the most important test in my life that decides where I go to law school - the LSATs. It's a test of logic and comprehension for those who haven't heard of it before. I have been studying religiously for the past month. I took 4 practice tests and scored: 157, 155, 159, and 156 (out of 180) which I think is pretty good, but I know I can do better. I am overthinking the logical reasoning sections which is totally screwing me up. I'm eliminating the right answer because I think it's too easy or simple. Grr.

Yesterday I took my first final and my first class came to an end - Women & Social Action. Thank God. I thought I was going to go crazy watching those stupid videos from the 80's anymore and writing a bunch of DUMB short assignments. Nothing bothers me more than teachers who give out meaningless assignments.

Today I took the first part of my Stats final, the computer part. It was easy as hell. Done in half an hour. I take the second, written part on Tuesday which will def be harder.

On Tuesday I also have my Intro to Science final. That class is a fucking joke. I can't believe it filled 2 requirements for me to graduate. I feel like I cheated Stockton haha but everyone takes that class for the same reason - it's easy. We get to use an 8 x 11 sheet front and back with whatever we want on it for the test. INSANE!

Wednesday is my last final - music. Which I thought was going to be easy until class today when we started learning some new concepts that I don't fully understand. I think I understand what she wants us to for our test - nothing more though. After Wednesday I am D.O.N.E. Done undergrad. Done Stockton. DONE!

Time to gloat:
I graduated college in 3 1/2 years AFTER transferring schools halfway through my second year. I still can't believe that I did it and it's happening! I remember sitting at Rowan my freshman year planning out how to graduate early because I wanted to be done ASAP. Apparently my planning worked because I did it! But. I am not with school because I want/am going to Law School starting Fall '09. WHICH I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT! Law is so exciting and interesting to me and I can't wait to start school for it. I also can't wait to be challenged in school again because I feel like the past couple years college has been a piece of cake. Okay, enough gloating.

With so many gifts to buy, and so much else to do during the holidays, what kind of research do you do when making purchases for everyone on your list?

Sponsored by Best Buy

View 137 Answers

Since I am somewhat OCD, I do a lot of research when I buy gifts for my family and friends. Checking the reviews for a product is first, then I try to find the best deal. If I can buy it in the store for around the same price, I will go to the store and try and find it. If not, I'll buy my gifts online.

My family usually gives me a specific list of gifts that they want me to buy them, so I don't have to go through too much to please them, but I also always make one present for each person I'm buying for. It's something that I've been doing my whole life and I like it. For the craft ideas, I usually find instructions online at www.diynetwork.com - they have the best gift ideas.

[/end answer]

I'm at work, as usual. I don't why, but I always want to write in here whenever I'm here. I do from home sometimes, but whenever I work I get the urge to type. I guess it's something that occupies my mind.

Does anyone remember "computer/typing class" when they were in grade school? They had this program that was a game that you had a typing contest with. It was great and I wish I knew the game so I could play it today. It also told you how many wpm you typed - which is cool to know.

My roommates stopped acting like children finally (I hope it lasts), but they haven't really come out of their room much the past week. Oh well. That's their decision I guess.

I finished the studying part of my LSAT prep book and with the last 2 weeks all that's left is taking practice tests and reviewing the sections I need help in. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I just can't wait til it's over so I can finally relax. Ha.

Well, I'm off to wase some more time on the internet.

I am officially starting to freak out ... a little bit.

Exactly 5 weeks from today, I will be at my COLLEGE graduation! Holy Shit. It's been 3 1/2 years since high school, but it still feels like that where I'm at in my life. I'm not ready for the real world!

I should probably start getting my act together. Like:
-seriously study for the LSAT's
-finish the work for my last classes
-find a "real" job
-fill out law school applications

My whole life I have been dreaming of going to law school and have always wanted to 'fast forward' my life - now I feel like it has without me knowing it! I am really excited that my dreams are finally starting to become reality ... as long as I work hard for it. *crosses fingers*

Ugh. I'm at work right now I am so bored. I only work 3 days a week right now, but it always feels so long. =/ Only 3 more hours to go! After work Dean and I (the same Dean for those who remember) are going to PetSmart to get some stuff for my hamster to clean his cage. He's stinky.

Well I'm off to find something to occupy my time for the next 3 hours while I'm here ...

'Til next time.

It's been a VERY VERY very long time since I have written here or even logged into the site. =/ So, I just deleted all of my previous entries and I'm starting with a nice, clean slate!

There's been several improvements to LJ since I've left and I'm liking them already. =) The new style system makes it a lot easier to customize layouts, which is awesome AND there's a bunch of create themes.

I decided that I want to start writing in here again because I've been thinking alot in my head and frankly, it's been giving me headaches for quite some time now.

I would make a big, long, detailed post about my life right now, but unfortunately I'm at work (not even really supposed to be on the computer) and I don't have any friends yet (well, I do, but I don't know if they're still active). So I'm going to take this time to find some new friends and check out LJ some more.

Check back later for a new post.
